Several mental and meditative exercises, coming from ancient spiritual traditions combined with a modern understanding of the human mind. Each lesson includes a small theoretical introduction, and practical exercises, such as mindfulness meditation, energizing, stress relieving and wellness enhancing exercises.
The course aims to make us reflect on our lives and to develop the skills of loving acceptance and positive mindset, in order to increase our happiness, inner peace, and a wholesome sense of wellbeing.
This course is part of the Sevenfold Path, a spiritual path which relies on body-mind practices and a holistic perspective on human life to promote in oneself and others an increase in happiness and fulfilment, along with freedom from suffering.
Many principles and ideas resembles Buddhism, Zen and Taosim, while practical exercises are inspired among others to yoga, martial arts and taichi. However, for most parts the Path was independently developed starting from modern research findings about human mind and nature.
As such, it does not require participants to accept any specific belief system or to believe in mystical or supernatural principles.
